Abstracts can be submitted for presentation in three categories:
1. Oral presentations
Submissions for oral presentations can either be abstracts or full papers aligned with the subthemes of the conference. Full papers will be peer-reviewed and published in the Proceedings of the Sustainable Research and Innovation Conference. Abstracts will be published in the Conference Book of Abstracts.
2. Poster presentations
Poster presentations are invited from postgraduate students to share ongoing research work.
3. Case study presentations:
Submissions are invited from participants from industry as a showcase of innovative and solution-oriented activities for societal change in Africa.

Abstract Format
Abstract must be written in Times New Romans font, 11 pt font size. It should include a title, names and affiliations of the authors. The abstract should have a maximum of 300 words and 5 keywords. The abstract template can be downloaded here.

Full paper submission
All full papers submitted to the Sustainable Research and Innovation Conference will be subjected to a peer review process. Each author is allowed to present a maximum of two papers as the main presenter. Kindly note that papers sent after the deadline will not be considered.
The full paper should clearly explain the originality and the relevance to the fields, and should be uploaded in electronic format. The paper should be a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 8 pages. The papers must be clearly structured including the following scientific parts: Paper title; Author(s) (name, title, affiliation, full mail address, e-mail address); Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Relevance, scientific significance with a brief review of the literature; Method; Results; Conclusions and References. Authors are advised to subject their manuscript to language review to avoid delays in the editorial process.
