Abstract

The issue of teaching/learning of Agricultural Science is a conscious effort of making students acquire the relevant knowledge and skill of agricultural science in order to contribute to the profession of agriculture; so it can adequately contribute to the national economy. The issue has remained fundamental to the production of relevant and required manpower in agriculture. Sustaining interest in this, all important paradigms remain central to the progress of the agricultural sub sector. This paper is a review work on the teaching/learning of agricultural science in our schools/colleges in Nigeria. The paper also made recommendations to sustain interest in the teaching/learning of Agricultural science like the use of experimentation/demonstration method among others.
